Travel Insurance Requirements
Proof of insurance may be required for destination entry or visa applications.
Requirements can vary based on your work location and employment status. Please review the relevant section below for guidance tailored to your specific situation.
- US Based Employees

You do not need to generate a new certificate. Please use the certificate and Policy ID number found here.
- Non-US Based Employees

If you are based outside of the United States, you will need to create a certificate to travel. A policy number is required to create the certificate and to open it. Please use the following Policy ID (for all countries except US): UKBBBC48874.
To generate a certificate, you must first confirm that:
- The trip is primarily for business purposes.
- It has been through the necessary travel approval process (if appropriate).
- If you are not a regular international permanent employee, that you have had approval to be covered under the travel insurance program by the Benefits Team and your Line Manager/Supervisor of the trip.
To confirm the information above, click the “Submit” button at the bottom of this page. You will then be directed to a page where you can generate your certificate.
If you are unable to confirm the above and require further information, please discuss with your line manager or reach out to Employee Connection.
- Contractors and Non-Employees

If you are contracted via a third-party company, or you are a non-employed (i.e. guests) traveler, please contact Employee Connections first to verify if coverage will be provided. content.
